First post! How exciting..=)

Hi guyz..
Well as I've said, this is my first blog post since the day I created this account (oh!that was only yesterday!) I only started reading (your) blogs last week and I've been inspired by the insights, as well as the stories everyone has posted. Because of that, I decided to create an account so that I could also share some of my personal insights about things and hopefully, could also share some stories of my life. Posting blogs could also be a way to express myself, my feelings, especially when things get wrong and there's no one I could talk to and of course, sharing my achievements and the remarkable moments I've shred with the people around me...=)

GET TO KNOW ME...

Btw, I'm Carmina [MINA na lang para cute..=)], a senior highschool student taking up Computer Operations and Applications as my technical course or specialization. Course on highschool?? Yes, we have our own courses already because our school is a technical and vocational institution. We are all scholars there and we have these kind-hearted benefactors and sponsors in and out of the country (mostly European ones) who support us in our studies by paying our tuition fees. Our school provides us a training (IPT) when we're on our 5th year to prepare us for future work. Fortunately, I've managed to be consistently in the academic honors list since I started studying there (of course that's when I was still a freshman) and STILL a member of the THEATER ARTS GROUP though I am now the STUDENT BODY ORGANIZATION President (that's how we call our Student Council).

Though school is on top of my priority list, I certainly do not forget to loosen up, to be cool and be makulit despite the pressure in school. Most people's misconception about me is that I'm S-E-R-I-O-U-S...Serious????? Sometimes yes, often not...depending on the time you'll catch me. However during breaks, meetings or practices, you'll see me goofing around with my classmates,my crew, my barkada and some of the students in the lower years who seem to be my children.(oh my!!I'm too young to be a mom!!!) or better yet, my younger siblings...=)

I do take things lightly because if I'll take the pressure in school and all the expectations of the people around me very seriously, then I would only make my studies more difficult and heavier to handle.

I was born 16 years ago and as a July-born Cancerian [my birthday is July 3 =)] , I'm optimistic, determined and sensitive to my surroundings. I'm certainly not a perfectionist bur I make it a point that whatever I'll do, it should satisfy the standards of the "critics" and also my own taste because I'm definitely giving all I've got for it. "

Not just pretty face,but a girl with a true intelligence that makes others turn to her and make a second look.This simple lady never runs out of thing to say.Her limitless patience is what makes her friends to love her more .She's incredibly wonderful to the truest meaning of the word for she is beautiful in body and soul.An obscure soul in the abyss of an ambiguous mind.That's what shroud beneath her wide grins and neurotic cracks.She's truly optime of a real truth seeker hidden with her beautiful and refreshing face.She is broad-minded and often takes risks.Nevertheless she's disarmingly cheery,optimistic and enthusiatic.She can also charm you with her graceful dance moves.Oh well,not evryone can dance the way she is!Others might misjudge her because of her goody looks but that makes her more mysterious and adorable" This is how they describe me. I'm not the type of person that goes with the crowd, you know... in the bandwagon. But then because of my status now, that everyone's watching me, I'll just use it for the greater good, for being able to share the right values to the people especially the younger students in our school who look up to me.

Despite of this popularity in school, what keeps me grounded is my STRONG FAITH IN GOD. I really believe that we cannot do much without HIM. I bear in mind that all that's happening now is because of HIM and for HIM. I always do things very carefully and outstanding enough because I do them for God's glory. Our family had built this faith since then and the way I was brought up especially by my grandparents, really influence my personality a lot. So.. that's it. As for me, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. There's no "other side" of me. I believe that keeping up an IMAGE can be tiring. No one can play your role in this world BETTER THAN YOURSELF.

Ahh,,, so much for this. For a first blog post this is quite long and I think this would be enough (just for now). I have a lot of things to do pa eh.=) So yun. I hope you enjoyed reading it.
